Workshop Description: In this workshop, we will provide an overview and a training for a new tool that the University of California, Santa Barbara developed under the support of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The CLiCC (Chemical Life Cycle Collaborative) is an open-access web-based, interactive tool that helps users understand the life cycle environmental and human health impacts of chemicals. It uses the state-of-the-art techniques and best available sciences in the estimation of life cycle inventory, fate and transport, exposure, toxicity, chemical safety datasheet entries, and associated uncertainty using various online data sources and estimation techniques including Artificial Neural Network (ANN), dynamic multi-media fate and transport models, Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR), and Monte Carlo Simulation.
